Greg and Brandi Squires

Greg and Brandi became the senior pastors of Freedom Life Church in 2008.  Passionate about God and people, they lead to see heaven's will manifested on the earth and people's lives be transformed by the power of God's love.  They desire to see every person come to know Christ and reach their full-redemptive potential.  Greg and Brandi are both passionate and committed to the mission of the local church.  They live in the Kissimmee/St. Cloud area along with their four children.

Our story

IT ALL STARTED WHEN...

Freedom Life Church (formerly known as Freedom Tabernacle) began in July of 1991 under the leadership of Pastors Arthur and Debra Lee. Obeying the direction of heaven, they launched the first service from the living room of their home, ministering healing and freedom to the hurting and oppressed.

In 1998, Freedom Life Church purchased our current property and building, causing the church to increase into a solid congregation of committed people. On August 17, 2008, following the Holy Spirit’s direction, Pastors Greg and Brandi Squires were handed the baton and accepted the pastorate position of Freedom Life Church.

Today, hundreds of people attend our gatherings. God is moving mightily as lives are being eternally transformed. We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be by experiencing either a Sunday ENCOUNTER gathering, first-Wednesday gathering or a Life Group with us.

our vision

Our vision is to build a strong, local church that preaches the Word of God with authority and that ministers the Spirit of God with power.  We see a church that reproduces itself by reaching out to the lost through personal evangelism and community outreaches.  We see a church that disciples believers - equipping them to be leaders in their community and the world.  We see a church that is family oriented which ministers the life of God to all ages in a relevant fashion without compromise.  We see a church that radically impacts our region, nation, and world by demonstrating the power of God in every sphere of influence.  We see a church of thousands that are empowered to experience freedom in their everyday lives.

Our Beliefs

THE BIBLE

The Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God.  It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths.  In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).

TRINITY

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  These three are co-equal and co-eternal
(I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity.  On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man.  He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life.  He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross willingly for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood.  He rose from the dead on the third day according to Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory (John 1:1,14, 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5).

SALVATION

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.  Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts.  Jesus is the only way to heaven and salvation comes by believing in your heart that Jesus is real, repenting of your sins, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior, and surrendering your life to His ways (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity.  Although He occupies many roles, believer's often have two experiences with Him.  The first experience is at salvation.  When a person receives Jesus Christ as their Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live on the inside of them.  The second experience is given at Pentecost.  It is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth.  When a believer is baptized with the Holy Spirit, they become empowered to be effective and receive their heavenly prayer language known as "tongues." The Holy Spirit also empowers the believer to operate in what is known as "The Gifts of the Spirit" (John 1:12; John 14:17,23; John 15:4; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20; Joel 2:28-19; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16;17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-14; I Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; I Peter 4:10; Ephesians 4:16; Hebrews 2:4; II Timothy 1:6-7).

WE EXIST TO GIVE EVERY INDIVIDUAL IN OUR REALM OF INFLUENCE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THE FREEDOM OF CHRIST IN THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES.

We accomplish this by taking four steps.  First, we must KNOW GOD, and know Him personally.  Where we build a personal relationship and develop intimate familiartiy with God's voice and a desire to do His will.  This occurs as we attend church gatherings on Sunday and First Wednesday.  Next, we must FIND FREEDOM.  To do this, we must cleanse our hearts from the issues of our past.  The best way for this to happen is to build authentic relationships with other believers by joining a Life Group.  Then, we must DISCOVER PURPOSE.  We each have spiritual gifts and unique purposes given to us by God because we are all part of God's plan to touch the world.  Discovering your gifts occurs when you take the Growth Track journey.  And finally, we must MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  God has something specific for us to do, and we can find real joy in knowing that our lives are making a difference for eternity.  This happens when you join the Dream Team and serve in your church to see lives transformed.

Becoming a part of your local church is more than a title; it's about connecting to God's vision and living it out as a family. We invite you to be our guest at any gathering or Life Group where you will encounter the God who loves you and discover the difference our church can make in your life.

Once you have attended as our guest, if Freedom Life Church seems like the church for you, we encourage you to attend GROWTH TRACK, a four-week journey that takes you from attending to becoming a part of our family.
